Runs with Wolves Sanctuary

Runs with Wolves Sanctuary is a nonprofit in Limington, Maine whose mission is to rescue abused and neglected wolves and wolf dogs (hybrids) and provide them with a safe, nurturing environment for the remainder of their lives.

Because wolves and hybrids do not do well in captivity, these animals are often surrendered to facilities like this one or euthanized. In addition to the rescue mission, Brenda Foster and her volunteers educate the public about wolf ecology in order to increase awareness of how best to enjoy these animals.
