Our Clients

The work we do is most rewarding because of the work done by our clients. They strengthen communities through health care, literacy services, historic preservation, health and wellness, life skills, technology education, childcare, animal welfare and the list goes on. The work they do is impressive.

PAWSThe mission of the Paws Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is to spay/neuter as many cats as possible to reduce the large population of unwanted cats in the St. John Valley area through spay/neuter of owned cats (who often are allowed to roam) and homeless cats.

This is truly a grassroots organization. It started early in 2008 when two women who worked at the University of Maine in Fort Kent decided to help a few homeless kittens and has evolved into a group that has had a significant impact in Fort Kent and surrounding communities.
